Brad Skillman is Deputy Director of the Center for Disaster Risk Policy at Florida State University. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Eckerd College and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Florida State University. Mr. Skillman teaches courses on terrorism, conflict resolution, and public health disasters.

Mr. Skillman has been a part of organizing and executing multiple exercises. These include DOSE which exercised receipt and distribution of the SNS. Mr. Skillman was an evaluator for Good Luck Charley which exercised a county-wide response to a devastating hurricane in central Florida. Osceola County’s annual hospital exercise--The OC--was developed, organized, and executed by Mr. Skillman. This exercise required coordination of volunteers, players, and staff at multiple sites around the county.
